Joanna is a marketing and social media strategist with six years experience, including general management of mid to large size organizations, brand development, business operations, and sales.
Currently founder of Adlicious Media that is partnered with FMW Media Works to produce innovative digital strategy for the television show New To The Street. We focus on search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), email marketing, social media, mobile marketing, online media and retargeting, direct response online advertising, research and analysis, as well as website design and digital technology application development.
Experienced use of the HubSpot, Hootsuite, Google Analytics, and MailChimp marketing softwares. I am familiar with the customer relationship management (CRM) product Salesforce.com, the ad server platforms DoubleClick for Publishers (DFP), and OpenX, and the programmatic Real Time Bidding (RTB), demand side platforms (DSP), and supply-side platforms (SSP), Invite Media, and MediaMath. Exceptional knowledge of Photoshop, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Word.
Prior to Adlicious Media, had a ten-year career in education and academia. At the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, I focused on overseeing the classroom management and curricular planning of pre-service teachers. Advised the Saturday Art School on ways to educate online audiences and create participant engagement through digital media.
Currently completing PhD dissertation in Art Education at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign that examines a case study of female Instagram users. Expected defense date: September 2016.
