Yes, New Photos Will Be Up Soon!

New photos will be up soon! The images from my shoot with Ana on Friday, I just have to put them through photoshop and rotate them as they won’t rotate on zooomr- dammit!

After working extremely hard for the last few weeks I’ve been taking it easy for the last few days and feel great about it. We all have things we do to hide, or distract ourselves with. I tend to work too hard. Range is playing with the games on his phone. I don’t quite get the whole video-game thing. It seems like a waste of time to me. However, we all have things we do to relax….

On Friday night we went out with Carrie and John to a Karaoke bar to celebrate Ana’s return home to America and I ended up singing KTV on liquid courage. Karaoke is not exactly my cup of tea but it was actually really fun at the time. To my great surprise I got into it and sang my heart out to Madonna’s Cherish, The Backstreet Boys, and that You’re So Vain song. Strangely enough the Karaoke DVD video was shoot in Vancouver so behind the lushus couple that acted out each song storyline were BC place and other Vancouver landmarks. From Taipei’s Partyworld Karaoke bar I felt very far away and yet so close to home. It’s funny how life interacts and intercepts with globalization. We are all together, albeit artificially, through new media.

I had a fun time too. KTV is not my first choice for a night out, but it’s always interesting to see everyone having so much fun and letting loose. Jo, you did sing your heart out. I thought Cherish was especially fun. Thanks for a wonderful evening out.

Anna’s photos are terrific and will be well worth the wait when you do get them posted.
