I’m Going to Climb that Mountain….

Today was a huge day for me….

There is a good chance I will be accepted into the Department of Fine Arts, Art Education PhD at National Taiwan Normal University.

This is big news.

Life changing news.

However, most of the program is conducted in Chinese and I definitely will have to seriously study Mandarin if I hope to be successful.

Needless to say I feel completely beside myself.  I’m going to put all my effort into learning Chinese for the next four months before the semester starts in September.  In some ways I feel slightly daft.  What am I taking on?  However, I also feel completely exhilarated.  This is a great opportunity and I’m going to go after it……

WHAT?? That’s amazing news!! Of course this is happening, your stars are aligned!! What a fantastic opportunity ~ I told Amy you’d conquer Asia in a heartbeat; this comes as no surprise in the charmed life of Jo. It’s only the next door to your future!!

Congratulations! That means you’ll be here in Taiwan for a while then. Great!

    Adventures in Taiwan!

    Hello Joanna,

Great new! New challenges, new adventures, new goals. Isn’t it funny how things are always evolving..just a year ago…i dont think Asia was in your mind set. You where in Montreal…doing your thing.

Chase all your dreams and never look back. Congrates on forcing yourself or being forced to learn Mandarin 😉 Im sure you will do fine 🙂

We have lots to talk about when you call next. Until then, the sky’s the limit

Oh wow. That is fabulous news! I’m so happy for you. You deserve it!

I think a celebration is in order… and as turns out, I have one little chocolate cupcake left that I will eat in your honour. I would send it to you, but *smoooosh* I don’t think it would make it in a very edible condition.
