Wow! Where is the museum located? Being a local Taiwanese, I have no idea about such a good place.

Thanks Kobe. It is right beside the Living Mall and is actually attached to the building. The museum is very cool. Needless to say, I have a lot of photos of the puppets and will most likely post some more in a few days. The puppets are a wonderful expression of Taiwanese culture.

Hey Jo. Fantastic photos as usual. What’s going on? I haven’t read anything about your work in your posts, but I’m assuming that you have been able to find work in Taiwan. Have I missed something? How did it all happen?

Wow. These are beautiful. Nice soft light. I love the photos with the children. It always adds so much life to a photo to have a “live person” as the subject (instead of those fake people we call celebrities.. kidding..) It’s much harder to shoot people, but you seem to have a gift for taking amazing people pictures.

Thanks Carrie and Lisa. I have started freelancing with two magazines in Taipei Taiwan Fun and Discover Taipei. Its cool and gets me out producing new work.

Lisa, taking photos of people is one of my favorite things to do in life. Especially portraits. It gives me great pleasure to ‘capture’ someone as I see them- to produce an image the subject feels reflects their own idea of self.

Congrats! That’s awesome on the magazine work. Definitely post the magazine tear when it comes out. Can you find those magazines in Canada?

It is an amazing accomplishment to actually work as a photographer. But I know you are a very gifted gal, so I am not surprised you are finding freelance work all over the globe!
