Tarantula in the classroom

Today was not a good day.  There was a giant spider in the classroom.  I ran out of the room and another teacher had to handle things.  The teenage boys had a good time killing the six inch wide spider.  I could not deal with the situation.  I did not know where to go?  The bathroom?  Another classroom?  Out to the street?  I was terrified that one of the giant bastards would run up my plant legs.  At last the boys brought out the squished spider and threw it outside.  Thank God!

Wow!! I don’t know how I would react either!! I can’t even kill the mini-cdn spiders let alone deal with uber-monstrosities!! EWWWWWWWWW!! Carry hairspray, spray the f’rs. Then when they try to move, they crack. At least…that’s how I imagine it working.
