Since arriving in Phuket two days ago Range and I have been enjoying every moment of this relaxed beach-town island. With the hot temperature, palm trees, scuba shops, and relaxed attitude Phuket really does seem like paradise.
Before we arrived Range and I had so many plans. We were going to go to James Bond Island and go snorkeling. However, another reason for our visit was to see Range’s childhood friend Jean Seb who now lives and works in Phuket. We have seen Jean Seb around his work schedule over the last few days and never quite made it out to go snorkeling or James bond Island. Instead we just relaxed and took things at a slower pace.
Today we travelled, by rented scotter, from beach to beach around the island. Range went swimming and we both took pictures. We’ve been eating lots of great Thai food from the local restaurants and taking it easy which feels wonderful.
Tomorrow we are heading home to Taiwan. Part of me is dreading it and another part of me is really looking forward to it. A lot is happening next week and its looking to be a killer week. Oh well it least we can enjoy the beach for another night and afternoon…

I am glad to hear you enjoyed Phuket. Renting a scooter is one of the best ways to get out and see the real Phuket. By the way I tried to connect to jorees.com, but there seems to be an error. Did you get some nice photos here?
